Monica4 days agoA most enjoyable stay. Property is centrally located, clean and as described. It is compact but there was ample space for three of us.Location was excellent. There are bars nearby but we weren’t disturbed by these at all. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby. A great base for a short stay in Edinburgh.Posted on Airbnb

The home is beautiful and you would think, with its location being just off the Royal Mile, it would be a bit noisy however this is not the case. Evenings were quiet, we slept great. Rebecca6 days agoWe appreciated its convenient location near Usher Hall, which was very walkable (20min) to Edinburgh Waverley Train Station or Princes Street or through the Royal Mile. Supermarket and Farmers Market were just round the corner, and it was quite peaceful too. We encountered a random group of people knocking on the window panes and screaming for their friend living in the same apartment block (possibly disturbing our wrong unit), perhaps that was the only drawback of a ground floor unit. And could have been better if the fluffs of dust on the floor was spotted during cleaning. Otherwise, a decent stay if you prefer to be at fringe of the Old Town city centre and love a good view of the Edinburgh Castle just along the street! Petit point négatif, le ménage n’avait pas été fait ou du moins pas correctement avec une forte odeur de curry tout le séjour. The host was wonderful, very quick to respond to any questions and incredibly clear with all the instructions.I needed easy access to central Edinburgh for work, and getting into the city was simple and convenient. Cathy11 days agoThis property has the most amazing location. You are just steps from the Royal Mile and can see the castle from the front window. Even though it is in the thick of things, it wasn’t noisy and felt very private. We had a few issues with the microwave/oven, but our hosts were very quick to respond and fix things. Dianne11 days agoThe place looked like the photos; sadly the unit lacked dining table & chairs. It can be difficult to pick out what’s NOT in a listing. There are 2 cushion backed lap desks I suppose for eating. The place at 43 Jamaica St S Lane is clearly meant for two; yet there is sofa seating for 4. One could be removed and small bistro table installed. Also clearly intend for renters to cook yet no exhaust except windows, & smoke alarm unreachable except w a ladder. Bathroom clean, except attention should be given to the black mold in shower. Iron/board; luggage stand, washing machine pods, & toiletries were provided. Bedding was comfortable.Posted on Airbnb

It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit – the kitchen was fully equipped, the apartment was cosy and welcoming, and it was spotlessly clean.One of the best things was how quiet it was. Despite being close to the city, it felt peaceful and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing.The location was excellent, with an easy walk into town and convenient access to Edinburgh's attractions, restaurants, and shops.Overall, a perfect base for exploring Edinburgh. Esteticamente molto bella e spaziosa, il piccolo giardino sul retro offre visite di qualche scoiattolo che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.L’unico appunto che ho da fare è riguardo la pulizia non completamente perfetta.Devo, però, riconoscere che Barry e il suo team hanno risolto tempestivamente il problema.Consigliato!Posted on Airbnb

Nos sentimos como en casa! Además la zona es muy tranquila, con un centro comercial casi enfrente y bien conectada con los principales puntos turísticos. Amanda12 days ago4/5 stay - AMAZING location. Stayed 4 nights. Short walk to everything in Edinburgh, bus stops right outside the door! Yes, there are many stairs but this is described in the listing - we only had to go up them once a day at the end of the day. Other reviews mentioned the light coming in the bedroom - this was NOT an issue for us at all. The light did not disturb our sleep. Slight noise from outside but this was expected due to the location - it did not disturb our sleep. Small issues - laundry machine has mold and smells and could not be used - did not want moldy smelling clothes. Neighbors smoke cigarettes so we smelled this through the door a couple times. Bathroom sink water pressure was a bit annoying, just a trickle of water. If it were not for these small issues (mainly the laundry as we were really relying on using it), it would be 5/5.Posted on Airbnb

Über die Schlüsselbox konnte kontaktlos und unkompliziert Ein/Ausgecheckt werden.Preislich war es ok - das war auf Airbnb eine der günstigsten Option, meiner Meinung aber doch etwas zu teuer für den kurzen Aufenthalt. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and served as the perfect base for our stay in Edinburgh.The only minor point worth mentioning is the hairdryer. It was a very small travel-sized model and a bit underpowered, especially for anyone with long hair. A slightly better hairdryer would be a nice improvement.Apart from that, everything was perfect.
